Research on A Collaborative Control Strategy of An Urban Expressway Merging Bottleneck Area

چکیده

The conflict between the mainline and incoming traffic flow in merging area of an urban expressway makes it easier to form a bottleneck than basic road section. When occurs, overall efficiency is affected. This paper establishes improved Cell Transmission Model (CTM) using Genetic Algorithms (GA) Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) for parameter calibration validation. Based on joint optimization goal safety, collaborative control strategy established. verified by VISSIM. results show that total travel time reduced 7.34%, turnover increased 6.06% applying during peak period. Therefore, cooperative proposed can improve state at safety level expressway.
